“Due to snow or ice, that is inflicting some arriving flights [into JFK] to be delayed an average of three hours and 16 minutes, not exceeding 4 hours and 53 minutes,” the FAA acknowledged.
Ground stops had been carried out at each JFK and LaGuardia round 8 a.m. ET and had been anticipated to be lifted at 10:30 a.m. ET.
