Tourists on an Egyptian Nile River cruise recalled the horror of narrowly escaping a huge ship fire.
The 220 passengers on the Iberotel Crown Empress for a 12-day cruise had been compelled to evacuate after a fire broke out round 6:30 p.m. within the kitchen whereas using in Esna, south of Luxor, Mohamed al-Sawy, Luxor’s Director of Security, advised the Egypt Independent.
