A Carnival Celebration ship needed to barely delay a trip departure from Miami Sunday after it was caught in a large rainstorm.
The vessel, which was slated to depart the Miami port round 4 p.m., was delayed by quarter-hour after the storm precipitated injury to the ship, in response to travel agent Dennis Post.
Post took to Facebook the place reside-streamed a video of the storm’s onslaught.
He advised viewers: “It is epic weather here – you can’t even see out.
“Supervisors had been on all of the decks because the rain was coming inside,” he continued to explain.
Post explained:Â “At one level, the captain sounded 5 short blasts of the horn which imply hazard as there have been crossing yachts within the channel whereas the ships was heading down.”
The trip will take passengers on a journey to Puerto Plata, Amber Cove Dominica, San Juan and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
