The Walt Disney Company, in partnership with Miral, Abu Dhabi’s main creator of immersive locations and experiences, has introduced plans to set up a landmark Disney theme park resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This would be the seventh Disney theme park globally, following the company’s announcement of a huge growth plan involving a $60 billion investment to enlarge Disneyland in California, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, worldwide parks in France, China, Japan, and its Disney Cruise Line.
The Abu Dhabi theme park, which isn’t included within the $60 billion plan, shall be located on Yas Island, a standard vacation spot for vacationers from the Middle East and Africa, India, Asia, Europe, and past, recognized for its waterfront views.
