Luxury yacht crashes and sinks in Mexican ocean with tourists scrambling – Travel News – Travel


A luxurious vacationer yacht tragically crashed into rocks and sank off the coast of Mexico on New Year’s Day.

The vessel, named Amore Mio, was carrying 15 visitors for a New Year celebration off the coast of Quebrada, Acapulco, Mexico.

The tourists moved to an empty space on the entrance of the yacht whereas it swayed back and forth because it approached the coastal rocks.

Onlookers referred to as out and made hand gestures urging the passengers to leap off the facet of the boat earlier than it inevitably crashed. Some jumped whereas others stayed.

All 15 passengers have been rescued by divers who introduced them to security, based on native reviews.

Eyewitnesses defined that the boat was pulled towards the rocks by robust currents, which led to the crash.

The Mexican Navy blocked off the realm following the incident.
