CEO slammed with federal assault charges after choking cruise passenger – Cruises – Travel


A California man has been slammed with federal assault charges after choking a fellow cruise passenger on the cocktail lounge, based on the FBI.

Kenneth DeGiorgio, 53, the CEO of mortgage lending company First American Financial, has been accused of violently attacking a man after he acquired into a dispute with his spouse Monday whereas aboard the Resilient Lady of Virgin Voyages whereas off the coast of Martinique.

Federal prosecutors obtained surveillance footage of the crime, which reveals DeGiorgio’s spouse Nichol asking a barefooted man put his footwear back whereas dancing, based on courtroom paperwork.

She requested, “Look, we are all grown-ups here, can you put your shoes on?” to which he allegedly replied, “Shut up, you f—ing b—-.”

Her husband then proceeded to stroll over to the person and pulled him throughout the ground by his neck whereas screaming “I’ll f—ing kill you,” based on the legal criticism.

However, DeGirgio’s spouse claimed accountability for the assault.

She instructed federal authorities that he “never touched her” and stated it was her fault for asking him to put his footwear back on.

DeGiorgio’s legal group stated in a assertion to the New York Post that the CEO “responded to the actions of an individual who harassed his wife, making her feel threatened and intimidated” and is wanting “forward to being absolved of any wrongdoing.”
