Carnival Cruise Line defended its price hikes after clients complained online.
The cruise company was amongst a few together with Royal Caribbean that reported numbers not seen since earlier than the Covid pandemic.
Amid elevated demand, the company raised prices on fares and add-ons.
One self-proclaimed “Carnival loyalist” complained about her upcoming travels online.
She mentioned her current expertise has discouraged her from touring with the cruise line sooner or later.
Brand Ambassador John Heald responded to her post and defined the price hikes.
“Thank you, well, obviously, all of these things are important,” he mentioned. “They are important because it is onboard revenue that allows us to keep the price of the actual cruise so very affordable.”
He continued to clarify that the company determined to raise prices on extras to keep cruise fare prices down.
“Obviously these are also things that you don’t actually need but are there and remain massively popular and do book out each and every cruise. I will pass on your thoughts to my colleagues. And I do sincerely thank you for taking the time to let me know. If there is anything I can personally do before your next cruise please also let me know and I wish you nothing but happy days full of fun,” he added.
